Shape Engineering is pleased to see excellent progress continuing at the Pendleton House development in Salford, with another significant construction milestone now achieved.
The reinforced concrete cores have now risen proudly above the retained historic façade, providing a clear indication of the scale and ambition of this landmark residential regeneration scheme. As work continues on the hybrid reinforced concrete and structural steel frame, the development is beginning to transform the Salford skyline.
Shape Engineering is proud to be providing Civil and Structural Engineering design services for this exciting project on behalf of Vistry Group. Located just across the road from our completed Willow Court development, Pendleton House represents another important investment in the ongoing regeneration of the area.
This has been a technically challenging project, requiring close collaboration across the wider design and construction team. Working alongside Todd Architects, MPB Structures, ECS Building Services Consultants and the wider project team, we have helped develop engineering solutions that respect the retained façade while supporting a modern residential development that will deliver high-quality new homes for the community.
The completion of the reinforced concrete cores marks a key structural milestone, forming the backbone of the building as construction progresses with the remaining concrete and structural steel frame. With works advancing at pace, the scale and quality of the development are becoming increasingly evident.
We are looking forward to watching Pendleton House continue to rise over the coming months and celebrating further milestones as this impressive regeneration project moves towards completion.
