Shape Engineering is delighted to be supporting the delivery of another new Lidl store, with design work progressing well on the retailer’s latest development in Kirkby.
Working alongside Lidl GB and the wider project team, Shape is providing both Civil and Structural Engineering design services for the scheme, continuing our successful relationship on a number of retail developments across the region.
The new store will provide a modern, high-quality retail destination for the local community, helping to improve access to affordable food shopping while creating new employment opportunities and contributing to the ongoing investment in Kirkby.
Our involvement spans both civil and structural engineering disciplines, delivering practical and efficient engineering solutions that support the successful delivery of the development from the early design stages through to construction.
Projects such as this demonstrate the importance of close collaboration between the client, design consultants and contractor, ensuring that engineering, architecture and construction come together to deliver a high-quality retail environment.
We are proud to be working alongside HTC Architects, Braithwaite Group and the wider project team, and look forward to seeing the development progress on site over the coming months as another Lidl store begins to take shape.
At Shape Engineering, we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that support commercial developments across the UK, and we are excited to play our part in bringing this latest Lidl store to life.
